This Resurrection Sunday, Lance Wallnau walked us through what Jesus accomplished from the crucifixion through the ascension, revealing that the victory of the cross extended far beyond what we often realize.

After His death, Jesus went to paradise to minister to the Old Testament saints who had been waiting for redemption. He also descended to Hades, not as a victim, but as a victor, proclaiming His triumph over the fallen angels from the days of Noah, those who had rebelled against God and acted outside His design (1 Peter 3:18, 2 Peter 2:4).

Where they acted illegally, Jesus came to the earth the right way, fully God and fully man, fulfilling God’s plan of redemption completely.

Lance then highlighted the power of the resurrection and ascension. Jesus rose in a glorified body and ascended to heaven, where He presented His blood on the mercy seat, securing eternal redemption. His finished work brought victory across every realm.

The message was a powerful reminder: Jesus didn’t just die for us, He completed a total and final victory, and we now live in what He fully accomplished.
