But First, Forgive

Pastor Ben Diaz

Hello Church Family!

At Vida Church, we strive to honor and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leadership. So, on Sunday, Pastor Ben threw out the agenda and let the Holy Spirit take over!

Our collective aspiration is to witness God's promises and covenant come to life within our church family. We long to see more of God's healing power, provision, salvation, restoration of marriages, prodigals returning, and answered prayer. Do you share this desire?

Our Father yearns for these blessings for us, as He says in Mark 11:24, "You can pray for anything and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours." However, this promise comes with a crucial instruction in the next verse—

But, first, forgive. Unforgiveness can be a roadblock to answered prayers.

Pastor Ben led us in a powerful, heart-changing exercise to help us let go of unforgiveness, hurts, and offenses. As we allowed the Holy Spirit to move and speak during the service, revealing unforgiveness towards others and ourselves, we experienced a mighty move of God through our Vida family!

Even if you missed the service, it’s still possible to see the same move of the Spirit in your life! Hear the entire message here

Back in January, Pastor Kara spoke about “God, Our Rewarder” from Isaiah 55:6. Now, at the halfway point of the year, the Holy Spirit is calling us to recalibrate—to pause, evaluate, and make any adjustments necessary to ensure we’re still walking in the perfect will of God.
