Como creyentes, fácilmente podemos mirar nuestras limitaciones naturales y decir: “Solo soy humano”. Pero las Escrituras nos dicen que algo profundo sucedió cuando entramos en Cristo. Fuimos hechos nuevas criaturas, participantes de Su naturaleza divina, y ahora el Espíritu de Dios habita dentro de nosotros.

As believers, we can easily look at our natural limitations and say, “I’m just human.” But Scripture tells us that something profound happened when we came into Christ. We became new creations, participants in His divine nature, with the Spirit of God dwelling within us.

Podemos tener una banda completa, letras en las pantallas y músicos excelentes, pero la música por sí sola no es lo mismo que la adoración. Adorar implica una expectativa de que Jesús, el Rey de reyes, se manifieste en medio de nosotros.

A full band, lyrics on a screen, and excellent musicianship can create beautiful music, but music by itself is not the same thing as worship. Worship carries an expectation that Jesus, the King of kings, will make Himself known in our midst.

This Sunday, Pastor Ben continued our teaching on the Bride of Christ , taking us deeper into what it means to live in covenant intimacy with Jesus. Scripture teaches us to know God as our Father and ourselves as His sons and daughters, but it also gives us another powerful picture: we are the Bride, and Jesus is the Bridegroom.
