What Does a Woman of The Kingdom Look Like?

Pastor Ben Diaz

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Pastor Ben shared a powerful message on the value and divine design of women. He reminded us that when God saw man alone—He took woman out of man, creating her equal, but different. Pastor said it best, “Women are equally powerful, divinely different.”

When man and woman walk together in unity, they bring out each other’s strengths through their differences to form a complete, unified whole.

Women are incubators. While men carry the seed, women create human beings! Bringing forth the beauty of God's creation through family. They are multipliers. What God gives to a woman, she enlarges. She wasn't created to serve man, but to fulfill her unique, God-given assignment on earth.

“So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them and said, ‘Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it.’” – Genesis 1:27–28

Pastor explained that when Adam and Eve handed over their dominion to the devil, a curse followed. Ever since, Satan has targeted women and babies to try to stop God’s redemptive plan.

Throughout the Old Testament, we see a culture shaped by that curse—marked by the oppression of women. But when Jesus came, everything changed. Much of His ministry was intentionally directed toward women—restoring their dignity, healing their hearts, and lifting their value. Jesus reversed the curse!

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for He has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.” – Luke 4:18

Pastor declared that much of the pain we see in the world is rooted in the oppression of women. And yet, God raises up women to build families, communities, and nations.

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus... There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.” – Galatians 3:26–28

In the Kingdom, our access to authority and purpose comes by faith, not gender. Women carry incredible spiritual gifts and high callings.

Pastor highlighted Old Testament examples like Deborah—a national leader and prophetess—and Jael, who defeated the enemy that entered her home. Two bold women. Two different assignments.

Equally powerful. Divinely different.

Pastor Ben reminded us that “a good fight is kind you win.” And the good news is—the fight is already rigged in our favor. Jesus has assured us of victory, but the Lord still calls us to stay engaged in the fight.

He reminded us that we’re not a “normal church following a program,” but a prophetic, faith-filled, grace-grounded church that must listen for what God is saying now. Charlie’s courage, stewardship, and “Here I am, send me” posture challenges us to carry that same mantle.

There’s a big difference between religion and a relationship with God. Religion often focuses on sacrifice and self-denial as a way to try to reach God. But for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ and understand His grace, we know salvation is not something we can earn.

Back in January, Pastor Kara spoke about “God, Our Rewarder” from Isaiah 55:6. Now, at the halfway point of the year, the Holy Spirit is calling us to recalibrate—to pause, evaluate, and make any adjustments necessary to ensure we’re still walking in the perfect will of God.
