When Truth Breaks Chains: One Man’s Journey from Islam to Christ

This weekend, we were honored to hear from Mohamad Faridi, whose life was radically transformed by an encounter with Jesus.

Born into Islam in Iran and trained to give his life for his faith, Mohamad shared how everything changed when a friend risked everything to tell him about Jesus. For the first time, he realized he didn’t have to earn acceptance through sacrifice, Jesus had already paid it all.

In that moment, everything shifted. Like the man in Mark 5, he was set free from torment, self-harm, and bondage, and given a new purpose.

Now living in the United States, Mohamad leads Iranian Christians International, helping bring the gospel and Bibles into Iran, often at great personal risk. He shared that millions of Muslims are encountering Jesus, making it one of the fastest-growing underground movements in the world.

Throughout the weekend, he also challenged us to stay grounded in truth, walk in discernment, and boldly live out our faith in a rapidly changing world.

While parts of the message were sobering, it ultimately stirred compassion, faith, and urgency, reminding us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy.
