Releasing the Supernatural
in Your Life Today!

Pastor Ben Diaz

All throughout Jesus’ ministry on earth, He gave example after example of the Kingdom of Heaven. Pastor explained, “it’s kind of like a video game—you’ve got to crack the code, figure out the algorithm, and learn the rules of how it works.”

The good news is, we don’t have to wait until we get to heaven to experience God’s Kingdom—we’re called to live with the supernatural impact and power of the Kingdom right now, here on earth. Pastor described it as living with “One hand in heaven, one hand reaching out to others, and our eyes always locked on Jesus.”

But here’s the thing: we won't stay energized for supernatural living if we don’t recharge every week. Pastor showed us how important it is to stay connected with our church family—to refocus, refresh, and get fueled up to go back out and bring the Kingdom of Heaven to the world around us. Bottom line: Don’t miss church!

Pastor also gave a strong warning: "if we don’t value the Word of God and being planted in a church, the next generation will value it even less." After all the miracles God did for the Israelites—rescuing them from Egypt and bringing them into the promised land—it’s heartbreaking to read Judges 2:10: "After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what He had done for Israel.”

We don't want that to happen on our watch!

Pastor took us to the story of Gideon—300 men against an army of 150,000. Talk about being outrageously outnumbered. It was “Jesus or bust!” These soldiers had to put their trust completely in God to win the battle, and as always, God gave them the victory in a way only God can do.

But here’s a hidden revelation Pastor showed us: God chose the 300 based on how they drank water from the stream. Those who knelt down and put their faces in the water saw their own reflection—they were focused on their own strength and God disqualified them. But those who scooped the water up to their mouths kept their eyes up—focused on God instead of themselves. That’s the posture we must stay in today if we want to see God’s supernatural power show up through us.

Look to God. Trust Him. Be willing to obey and risk it all—that’s the code that wins the victories in the Kingdom of God!

This Sunday at Vida, we were challenged with a simple but powerful question: Are we merely Christians who know the Word, or are we actually participating in what we believe?

We can spend so much of our lives looking for the extraordinary that we miss the sacredness of the ordinary. We wait for the next season. The breakthrough. The opportunity. The relationship to change. The circumstances to improve. We imagine that when something finally shifts, then our real life will begin. But God is not only the God of where we're going. He is the God of right here and right now.

We are living in what many have called an epidemic of loneliness. Although we are more connected technologically than ever before, many people still lack deep, meaningful friendships. As the Church, one of our greatest distinguishing marks should be our ability to love one another. Jesus said the world would recognize His disciples by the way they love.

Healthy relationships don't happen by accident. They are built intentionally as we allow God to shape the way we love, encourage, and walk with one another. This week, Pastor Ben continued our Kingdom Relationships series by focusing on two foundational pillars: vision and faith.

Every relationship in our lives isn't meant to carry the same weight. Some are casual, others are seasonal, and a few become deep Kingdom relationships worth intentionally investing in. As Pastor Ben reminded us this Sunday, healthy Kingdom relationships don't happen by accident—they're built on self-control, responsibility, and truth.
