The Power of the Church

New Title

The Power of The Church

Special Guest Joseph Z

We were incredibly blessed to welcome Joseph and Heather Z from Z Ministries as our guest speakers this past Sunday! Joseph Z is an international prophetic voice, known for building up lives through the Word of God across the church, government, and marketplace.

Joseph began by teaching from Matthew 16, where Jesus asks His disciples, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter boldly declares, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus affirms him, saying, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you… Upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Matthew 16:17–19)

Joseph powerfully illustrated that just as Simon Peter received divine revelation about Jesus, we too must embrace the heavenly revelation of who Christ is—and who we are in Him. He reminded us, “When we truly understand the power that resides even in our little pinky finger, we’ll take over this place!”

He highlighted how the apostle John outlived all the other original twelve disciples, and it’s no coincidence that John also carried the revelation of being God’s favorite. (A truth Pastor Ben has been teaching us recently too!)

Joseph shared that Jesus revealed the heart and character of the Father and came to destroy the works of the devil. The miracles, signs, and wonders Jesus performed weren’t just for His time—they are the prototype of the life we are called to live today through the power and with the partnership of “Uncle Holy Ghost” as Joseph calls him. We have a responsibility to push back the forces of darkness and reveal the Father’s love to the world. We are carriers of the King of Glory!

Joseph also spoke about how God desires to release a wealth transfer to His people. To step into this, we must position ourselves in the Kingdom, find our tribe, and discover our calling and destiny. God wants us to win even more than we do!

Joseph also shared powerful prophetic insights about America and our role in praying for God’s will to be fulfilled. He delivered it all with relatable humor and practical wisdom. There’s so much more you won’t want to miss, so be sure to watch the full message for yourself—click here and be blessed!

This Sunday at Vida, we were challenged with a simple but powerful question: Are we merely Christians who know the Word, or are we actually participating in what we believe?

We can spend so much of our lives looking for the extraordinary that we miss the sacredness of the ordinary. We wait for the next season. The breakthrough. The opportunity. The relationship to change. The circumstances to improve. We imagine that when something finally shifts, then our real life will begin. But God is not only the God of where we're going. He is the God of right here and right now.

We are living in what many have called an epidemic of loneliness. Although we are more connected technologically than ever before, many people still lack deep, meaningful friendships. As the Church, one of our greatest distinguishing marks should be our ability to love one another. Jesus said the world would recognize His disciples by the way they love.

Healthy relationships don't happen by accident. They are built intentionally as we allow God to shape the way we love, encourage, and walk with one another. This week, Pastor Ben continued our Kingdom Relationships series by focusing on two foundational pillars: vision and faith.

Every relationship in our lives isn't meant to carry the same weight. Some are casual, others are seasonal, and a few become deep Kingdom relationships worth intentionally investing in. As Pastor Ben reminded us this Sunday, healthy Kingdom relationships don't happen by accident—they're built on self-control, responsibility, and truth.
